If you have a deployed husband and dont know what to send him for fathers day or if you have a dad that loves to capture memories and may not be the best with technology I recommend the Sony Bloggie it is simple to use with only having 3 buttons on the outside of it..a power button, still picture button, and a large round record button on the front that allows you to capture video footage with ease. It is has a nice responsive touch screen and you can tag videos right on it to go to your favorite sites such as facebook or youtube when you plug it into your computer. It has a flip out usb and comes with a short cord so you dont end up wearing the usb out by just plugging it into the side of you computer allowing it to bear the weight of the bloggie even though it is really light. I love its slim versatility which allows it to slip into my camera case front pocket or the pocket of my jeans. It isnt bulky like the flip and has a pretty decent zoom on it the sound quality is good and the picture is great as well. I have a few videos on youtube that I have taken with my bloggie and will post the links below. However I have heard that the newer and completely touch screen doesnt have as good of sound quality. But all in all I am very pleased with my bloggie and wish it had been out when my husband was deployed because I would have been able to send him lots of videos of life going on back home because it is wayyyy easy to use and thats my favorite part!
I would suggest buying from Best Buy since they do have the black tie warranty and I always get that on my electronics. Best Buy homepage
Or you could always buy from Sony directly, they offer more color options on their site such as blues and hot pinks if you are looking for options the link below offers that!

Fathers Day
Father's Day is this month and we all need to start thinking what we are going to get those special fathers in our life! If you are like me I have the hardest time picking something out for my husband for fathers day he is beyond picky and is by far the hardest person to please in our family! So I have set out to search for some great fathers day ideas because the traditional tie just simply wont work for a person like my husband and my dad has so many tie from me and my sisters each fathers day I really think it is time to change it up so this month I am going to be on the look out for some pretty different ideas. Comments and suggestions are welcome! Lets all have a great start to summer!!!!

THE FURminator!
Ok so this is my first review and something that I feel is a GREAT need to have tool if you have a pet. I have 2 large beautiful Akita's that go through a heavy shedding period twice a year. Their shedding gets so bad in the spring that you just pull clumps out and yes a shedding comb will get those but it never brings up the winter undercoat. When I first got the FURminator we lived in TN the weather was hot and the dogs were shedding hair balls that I had rolling around my wood floors like tumble weeds in the desert and with a toddler that was constantly at play on the floor I was desperate to find another brush that wouldnt have me brushing for literally hours a day when we were in full blown shedding season.
I am a pretty skeptical person and seeing how much they got off of their pets in videos I watched I didnt believe it myself. I thought they were clipping the dogs and just laying the hair around for an illusion but after taking this brush over my dogs just 2 times I was SOLD on it. I got a full walmart bag full of hair off of my one dog, Zeus and I only brushed for maybe 10min max.
I have had the FURminator for about 4 years now and have used it on my pets year around and it has drastically cut down on loose dog hair in my home and on my pets. They sell multiple sizes but I have the large dog brush which is 4in wide. because my pets are 90-100lbs and are Large dogs.
I eventually want to upload a video showing you with my own pets and brush that this is great I just am trying to figure out my youtube account and trying to figure out how to make a channel and be able to give you video reviews as well as a typed up reviews on here.
Through my research I found that Pet Value Center had the lowest prices on the brush pictured above without the clear out button. But if you are looking for the one hand brush with the clear out button Pet Mountain has a good price on it with free shipping.
Also since I am just starting up I am open for suggestions on things to write about. So if you have something you just rave about to all your friends and cant tell enough people then by all means I want to know about it! Thank You Everyone bear with me while I get things underway!

Mission Beach in San Diego, CA
My first impression of Mission Beach was that it definitely reminded me of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. It has the boardwalk and a roller coaster along with other carnival type rides at Belmont Park. It is a heavily visited beach and a definite tourist attraction. It wasnt the cleanest nor was it that fun for me because it was so much like the east coast beaches I know..I am in CA I want something new I want to experience everything I can while I am there and Mission Beach wasnt really fulfilling that want for me at least. But it is good if you have teenagers they do have a lot to do because of the boardwalk and a place called the Wave House which has an array of activities to do from Concerts, Entertainment, Bars, Restaurants & Surfing. So lots to do if you are into that type of thing because it is a very popular place to go but keep in mind you will also have a ton of tourist!

Coronado Island, CA
As some of you may know last week we went to San Diego with my husband for one of his district meetings for work. Skyler and I had all week to play and explore the beaches and surrounding towns full of shopping and good food. Although the weather wasn't that warm (60's) we still went to a couple beaches. The first one we went to was Coronado which is an island right off of downtown San Diego. That was by far my favorite beach with white fine sand and gold flakes throughout the sand that was really something to see it was almost like the sand right at the shore line was gold..when you walked the bottoms of your feet turned a gold color and when it dried it would just flake off, something I have never seen before especially not on the east coast but maybe it is common? But anyway it is a cute little island with a magnificent hotel del coronado placed right along the beach with beach houses for rent with there own private pools and spectacular views of the ocean and the many navy ships entering the harbor. It is a must see and definitely my favorite! I think I liked it the most because they would clean up the sea weed in the morning from the beach and rake the sand along the shore keeping it nice. If you are going to San Diego take the ferry to Coronado Island or drive across the massive bridge and look down over all the sail boats nestled along the coast!
